How often should I change my air filters?
We recommend changing your air filters as specified by the equipment manufacturer. Neglecting to change your filters on regular basis can lead to a build up of allergens, dust, and pollen in the air. Neglecting them can also lead to poor performance on the part of your heating and air conditioning system.
Your system manufacturer should indicate what type and size of filter (or filters as some systems use multiples) you will need. You will also need to locate the filter(s) somewhere in your system, most often in a return air duct which can be located in the basement, attic, crawl space or other area.
If you are having trouble locating or changing your air filter, please contact us for assistance. We will be very happy to help.
